About Us

Lee began racing at the age of 12 on the Florida dirt tracks. After winning over 350 feature events in the state, he got his big break and landed a NASCAR Busch and Winston Cup ride with Slender U figure salons as the sponsor and a teammate to Butch Miller. Lee went on to win the Texas Pete Rookie of the year in the All-American Challenge series and won several races. Four years later and much experience gained, Lee moved his family back to Florida and began building race cars. While he was busy building top notch modifieds, Lee was also winning Super Late model races in the Florida Pro Series.

Michael started driving in 1997 and by 2000 he was the S.A.R.A Rookie of the year in the Florida late model series. Michael took over where Lee left off in 2002, winning races in the Florida Pro Series. Michael then won the 2002 FPS Rookie of the year. In 2003 Michael got the call from long time family friend David Reutimann to drive the car he stepped out of in the NASCAR All-Pro series under the Pennzoil banner. In 2005, Michael signed a contract to drive for MB3 motorsports in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup series where he once again took the Rookie of the year title, the whole time having his dad as the teams General Manager.

Michael and Lee have since then went on to compete at tracks such as Nashville, Talladega and Daytona in the ARCA series and are now preparing to take on the NASCAR Camping World East division. Through all of their own racing Lee and Michael Faulk have been able to build and run a successful driver development team attracting drivers from as far south as Florida, and as far north as Canada. Now living in Mooresville, NC , Lee Faulk Racing and Development continues to win races and raise the bar for the driver development industry.
